Hi, I'm Mariève!

Welcome to B.R.U.T. Matter Based in Chelsea, Québec, my artistic approach grew out of a deep passion for decor and raw textures.

With a background in design, I bring a trained eye for composition and balance to every creation. My work lives at the intersection of fine art and botanical preservation: I cast wedding bouquets, honor memorial flowers, and sculpt vessels from recycled paper mâché.

What does B.R.U.T. stand for?

Through B.R.U.T., I pay tribute to nature in its most raw and organic form. By working with clay, plaster, and papier-mâché, I give lasting shape to the precious stories held within each flower.

Art, Matter & Memory

For me, flowers aren't just decorative. They are emotional timestamps. They carry the laughter of a wedding day, the comfort of a final farewell, or the sweet simplicity of a bloom picked by a child.

By combining fine mineral stone casting with artisan techniques, I freeze these fleeting moments in time so you can cherish them forever.
